What do you want to see in The WBB Playbook
Hey folks!
Well I must say the response to The WBB Playbook has been pretty damn exciting (and surprising!). Since announcing it late last week, we’ve had 70 people from across the industry sign up and some very lovely comments.
Thank you and welcome everybody 👋
Seems there’s an appetite out there for some good quality advice and support when it comes to selling and marketing craft beer.
The first ‘proper’ post will come out on Tuesday, with the plan for a new post to land in your inboxes every Tuesday morning henceforth, until the end of time (or until Piers Morgan stops being a d*ck, whichever comes first).
Before that though, I want to hear from you.
What are your main challenges?
What do you need help with?
So far, I'm working on posts about:
➡️ How to write cold emails that actually get read.
➡️ How to actually add value so that a buyer wants to hear from you!
➡️ Tips on how to get to know your customer better so you know what they want from you.
➡️ What to think about when putting together your on-tap offering in your bar.
➡️ Hero products and why more breweries should be focusing on them more.
➡️ How can you make your customers sell your product for you?
➡️ Advice on how to think about your brand's positioning.
➡️ How to think about marketing when you're selling a commodity product (because sorry folks, even craft beer is commodity).
Lots of other topics on the list, currently being refined.
Please let me know what you’d like to see by hitting reply and sending me some thoughts.
See you on Tuesday,
James
p.s. I’d love to be up to 100 subs for launch day - can you help spread the word to your colleagues?
